About the trek
Barah Broq is a short high-altitude trek beginning in Barah village in the Khaplu region. The trail climbs from orchards and Balti settlements through summer pasture to a high camp near Blue Lake.
An optional early start toward Moses Peak opens wide views of K2, Broad Peak, the Gasherbrums and other Karakoram summits when conditions are clear. The upper outing is strenuous and remains dependent on fitness, acclimatization, snow and weather.
