About the trek
The Latoq Base Camp Trek leaves the main Baltoro trail near the Biafo Glacier and follows the remote Dumordo valley into the Panmah Muztagh. Beyond Askole, camps at Namla and Mango lead toward the granite walls of the Latoq group and the Ogre region.
This itinerary reaches base camp as a trekking objective and does not include an ascent of Latoq I. Rough moraine, glacier travel, river crossings and long wilderness days make it suitable for fit trekkers with previous multi-day mountain experience.
